Wild gorges, gentle heights, deep valleys, rugged cliffs, wide meadows - the habitats and flora of the Alps are characterized by diversity. The Alpine region is dominated by dynamic processes, be it harsh winters or raging foehn storms. Particular robustness and resilience, even vitality, is required. No wonder that alpine plants have always been attributed special powers.
We use the wild mountain water, crystal clear and lively, to distill the SOAVO mountain lavender and obtain – in addition to the precious essential oil – the “fragrant water of the mountains”: hydrolat is the name given to the precious flower water that is produced during distillation. In addition to the oil essence, mountain lavender water is the key active ingredient and effective beauty product in SOAVO natural cosmetics.

SOAVO combines the power of selected alpine plants with organic plant extracts, bioactive plant oils and the purest essences. For SOAVO, essential oils are not only noble ingredients for the fragrance composition, but also highly effective ingredients in the care line.
The main active ingredient is Austrian mountain lavender from our own organic cultivation project in the alpine region of Upper Styria.
Lavender is one of the most versatile essential oils with a wide range of effects and applications; it has mood-enhancing, regenerating, balancing and skin-care properties. As a "soul plant", lavender literally lets stress go for a bath. The light, fresh MOUNTAIN LAVENDER (Lavandula angustifolia) conveys serenity, freshness and clarity and combines effective skin care with a feeling of well-being.

THE GREEN POWER OF TREES
Conifers convey strength, energy and clarity. (Pinus cembra), the powerful queen of the Alps, also called Swiss stone pine, thrives on high rocks in the Austrian mountains. Its spicy oil smells like a walk in the forest.
MOUNTAIN PINE (Pinus mugo) has a resinous, fresh fragrance bouquet and has a vitalizing and strengthening effect. As sweet as a caress: the seductive, honey-sweet-smelling hydrolate is distilled from the "tree of a thousand hearts," the blossoms and young, heart-shaped leaves of the lime tree . The precious floral water soothes and relaxes the skin - and makes the complexion radiant.
